JoAnne’s Salmon

Small amount olive oil
Fresh minced garlic
Filet of salmon
¾ Cup white wine
2 Lemons
Teriyaki sauce


  1. Place a thin layer of olive oil in frying pan, heat on (med).
  2. Rub freshly minced garlic on salmon filet.
  3. Place salmon skin side down in pan, and turn heat to high.
  4. Hand grind basil over salmon.
  5. Cook for about 2 minutes.
  6. Flip salmon, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Flip salmon back to skin-side down.
  8. Remove from heat, and add wine.
  9. Hand squeeze whole lemon over salmon.
  10. Return to heat, set at low/med.
  11. Cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  12. Remove lid, add thin layer of teriyaki sauce to filet.
  13. Return lid, and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, then enjoy!

Goes well with steamed asparagus and wild rice.
