Taco Salad

INGREDIENTS:
1 Pound lean ground beef (the leaner the better)
1 Package taco seasoning
8-9oz Can kidney beans
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 or 2 Heads loose leaf lettuce (shredded)
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Fresh Avocado
Cherry Tomatoes
1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Package tortilla chips (crushed)

TOPPING:
1 Cup Catalina dressing
¼ Cup sugar

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In frying pan, brown beef.
  2. As beef is getting done, add taco seasoning.
  3. Add all main ingredients in large salad bowl, adding beef last.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix topping.
  5. Topping can be added to salad in large bowl, or individually on plate.
  6. Place crushed tortillas on plate, add salad and topping on that, and enjoy!
